DEPARTMENT OF MODERN SUBJECTS
The Objective of this Campus is to impart education in traditional Shastras. However, the knowledge of modern subjects is essential to ensure employability of the courses and all round development of the students to deal with the worldly affairs successfully. Therefore, to equip the students with modern subjects, the campus has introduced modern subjects like Hindi, Kannada, English, History, Computer Education, and Physical Education at Prak-Shastri and Shastri levels.
The modern Subjects offered in the campus are taught according to the mandate of syllabi given by the Sansthan, which is developed referring to the syllabi of NCERT, Delhi University etc... The major of aim of the Syllabi is to give insight regarding the modern subjects along with providing functional skills and behavioral skills in line with traditional wisdom.
In addition to these, occasional Yoga classes are conducted in the campus to impart the knowledge and benefits of Yoga to the students. Moreover, Environmental Science is also taught as per the U.G.C. norms for the students studying in Shastri final year to provide them the knowledge regarding current issues related to environment.
As a result of the Modern subjects offered in the campus, the students get an additional job opportunity by continuing higher education in any of the modern subjects. One of the major benefits of studying these modern subjects is the possibility for the students to undertake inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary researches in their future life, the concept which is in vogue in the present research scenario. Besides, the knowledge of modern subjects also helps the students to go for competitive exams like, I.A.S, K.A.S, Banking exams, F.D.A, S.D.A etc... Moreover, Physical Education and Yoga provide opportunity for the students to exhibit their talent in Sports and Yoga. Likewise, the modern subjects induce the overall development of the students under the light of traditional wisdom.
- Prepare the students to capable of speaking Hindi, English and kannada without any error.
- Prepare the students to capable of operating computer and getting basics to advance knowledge of the computer.
- Prepare the students to capable of creative writing skills in Hindi, English and kannada.
- Prepare the students to capable of self-learning.
- Prepare our students to take part in any level of competitions across the country.
- Prepare our students with mantel and physical capabilities by yoga and other sports activities.
- Our aim is start NCC training and organizing national-international sports for our students.
